In general, I love photographing senior sessions either early in the morning or later in the afternoon and evening, when the light is softer and more flattering.

Morning can be wonderful if you want a quieter Lake Bled experience.

Later afternoon and evening light works beautifully for other locations and elevated viewpoints.

I usually prefer to decide the exact timing closer to the session date, when we have a better idea of the weather, light and conditions.

Good light can completely transform a location.

That is why timing is always part of the planning process.

Can We Visit More Than One Location?

Absolutely.

If you want a simple collection of senior portraits, one beautiful location can be more than enough.

But if senior photography is one of the highlights of your European trip, you can also choose a longer experience.

A two- or three-location session gives us time for outfit changes, different scenery and a much larger variety of photographs.

For example, we might begin in Kranjska Gora surrounded by the Alps and later finish at Lake Bled.

Or we could stay around Bled but combine a lake location with an elevated viewpoint.

There is no fixed route.

I prefer creating each senior session around the person I am photographing.
