I’m Sanja, a professional photographer based close to Lake Bled. My style is natural, emotional and gently guided elegant, but never stiff or overly performed.
Most couples tell me they feel awkward in front of the camera. That is completely normal. You do not need to practise posing or suddenly know what to do with your hands. After the proposal, I guide you through simple movement while giving you enough space to enjoy what just happened.
I help with the details that directly affect the photographs: choosing a suitable location, finding beautiful light, deciding where you should stop and agreeing on where I will be waiting.
I am primarily your photographer, not a full proposal planner. For flowers, private arrangements or more elaborate setups, I can connect you with trusted local planners and professionals.
On the day, I may look like another visitor enjoying Lake Bled. In reality, I am probably pretending to photograph the same mountain for the forty-seventh time while quietly waiting for you to arrive.

A small wooden rowing boat gives you your own peaceful space away from the busy shoreline. I discreetly photograph from a second boat while you remain alone together, surrounded by the island, castle and mountains.
After the yes, we continue with relaxed engagement photographs on the lake.

Historic stone walls, elegant terraces and panoramic views over Lake Bled make the castle a beautiful choice for a cinematic proposal.

Can you secretly photograph my proposal?
Yes. We agree on a simple location and approach in advance. I arrive before you and photograph the proposal discreetly from an agreed position, allowing the moment to happen naturally.
Will my partner notice you?
My aim is to blend into the surroundings as another visitor or landscape photographer. I remain at a distance during the proposal and introduce myself only after the yes.
Do you help choose the proposal location?
Yes. I can recommend locations based on the light, accessibility, season, photography possibilities and the level of privacy you would prefer. My main role is photography rather than full proposal planning.
What happens after the proposal?
After you have had a moment to celebrate, we continue with a relaxed engagement photoshoot around the chosen location. I gently guide you through natural movement, so you do not need to know how to pose.
Which Lake Bled proposal location is the most private?
A private rowing boat is usually my favourite choice for intimacy because the water naturally separates you from visitors on the shoreline. Quieter lakeside areas and early-morning viewpoints can also work beautifully. Complete privacy cannot be guaranteed at public locations.
Can you photograph a proposal from another boat?
Yes. For rowing boat proposals, I can photograph discreetly from a second boat while you remain alone together. This creates a private experience and allows me to capture the proposal from different angles.
Is Bled Castle a good proposal location?
Yes. Bled Castle is a beautiful option for couples who want historic surroundings and panoramic views over Lake Bled. Entrance tickets or private arrangements may be required depending on the experience.
Is sunrise or sunset better for proposal photography?
Sunrise normally offers fewer visitors, calmer surroundings and soft light. Evening can create warmer light but may be busier. The best option depends on the season and exact location.
How long should I book a proposal photographer for?
One hour is usually enough for the proposal and engagement photographs around one micro location. Two hours allow us to combine two nearby settings, while three hours are suitable for a fuller Lake Bled experience.
How many photographs will we receive?
You receive approximately 50 carefully edited digital photographs per hour of photography. The exact number may vary depending on the experience and what happens naturally during the session.
What happens if the weather changes?
Clouds and soft light can create beautiful photographs. In the case of heavy rain, storms, strong wind or unsafe boating conditions, we discuss adjusting the time or choosing a suitable alternative location.
Can you arrange flowers, decorations or dinner?
My service focuses primarily on photography. I can recommend trusted local professionals for flowers, rowing boats, private castle arrangements, dinner reservations or a more elaborate proposal setup.
